I don't enter many "photo contests", but this year, I entered Michael Andrew's 2010 Photo Contest. I actually entered last year, with 3 or 4 different photos in different categories. None of my photos were nominated. I wasn't that surprised, because the level of talent was amazing.
This year, I only had time to submit one photo, in the landscape division. Actually, I procrastinated until the last minute and missed the deadline to enter photos for abstract/macro, portrait, sports, etc.
So I just submitted this photo in the Landscape/Nature category, (shot in the Wind River Mountains the first weekend in October):
Well, the photo made it as one of the nominees! I was excited as I was browsing through them all, to see my own work numbered among some amazing shots. Mine is #235 in the gallery.
